Air Coolers
Evaporative Air Coolers
Produce effective cooling by combining a natural process - water evaporation. Fresh outside air is pulled through moist pads where it is cooled by evaporation and circulated through a house or building by a large blower. For best performance and greatest cooling effect position the unit in a location that will create a ‘flow through’ air effect. For example near a partly, opened doorway or window with the ‘cool’ conditioned air directed into the room. It is also important to have a door or window partly opened away from the air cooler, in order to create the ‘flow through’ effect. They are particularly effective when situated in retail shop entrances. These units do not work well in closed off rooms, if this is the situation you have then an air conditioning unit would be more beneficial.
